The Bible displays its reliability and authenticity through its many eyewitness and contemporary accounts. The New Testament Gospels and the letters of the apostles are vibrant evidence of this. In surprising ways, the Old Testament narratives and prophesies illustrate too that they are authentic records. The differences between the laws of Moses and contemporary pagan laws are another evidence. Everything points persuasively to the conclusion that we can trust the Bible as an accurate prophesy and record of God’s plan of salvation in the coming of Jesus Christ.
