Come to The Stable
December 12 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
For the 18th year, Bowling Green Alliance Church is hosting Come to The Stable. The indoor event features hundreds of nativities from around the world. There will be refreshments, live music, and a nativity give-away.
The event, at the Bowling Green Alliance Church, 1161 Napoleon Road in Wood County, runs Dec. 12 through 15. Thursday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 3 p.m. with worship service at 10 a.m.
“If you would like to experience a little of the delightful wonder of the Christmas season, Come to the Stable. In the 500-600 sets we have each year there are rarely duplicates and yet each one depicts the birth of Jesus Christ,” said Jane Shively, the event chair. “Come to the Stable is a unique opportunity to slow down during the busy Christmas season. I love walking through the candle-lit room, listening to live music, and appreciating each of the nativity sets. Each nativity is different and reflects country and culture from where it comes” says, Katie Hatch of Bowling Green.
The event is free. Food items and donations to the BG Christian Food Pantry are welcomed. The church is handicapped accessible. Large groups planning to attend are asked to call the church ahead of time at (419) 352-3623 or email email@example.com.
Bowling Green Alliance Church (BGAC) is an inter-generation, international family of Christ-followers that exist to exalt Jesus Christ by sharing His good news, serving others and impacting our community and world.
