The Missionary Church will be hosting the 2026 Prayer Awakening Conference with Kie Bowman on September 21-22, 2026, at Life Community Church in Fort Wayne, IN. Participants will also have the option to attend one of six satellite locations in Michigan, Ohio, and Iowa or join via Zoom.

The free, two-day conference is an opportunity for pastors, lay leaders and prayer coordinators to be challenged and encouraged while experiencing meaningful moments of collective prayer. Pastors are urged to bring a team of people, so they will be inspired to lead their churches to transform into authentic praying communities and houses of prayer.

“We are reminded daily of the power of God to change lives and cultures. We are praying that each person in attendance will have a personal encounter with the Spirit of God that will lead to deeper intimacy with Him and deeper commitment to prayer,” stated Tom Swank, Missionary Church Prayer Coordinator.

Kie Bowman is the Senior Pastor Emeritus of Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas and served as Senior Pastor for nearly 26 years before retiring in 2023. For the last 45 years, Bowman has been passionate about prayer, revival, evangelism, the Spirit-filled Christian life, and teaching/preaching the Word of God.

Conference sessions will include the topics of Developing the Leaders Prayer Life, Evangelistic Prayer, Your Call to the Wall, Two Rooms for Prayer, and Praying to Get Things Done. 2026 is the ninth year for the Prayer Awakening Conference.
