DESCRIPTION:Vision Church is partnering with Let’s Build to build beds for children in our community that are without one. The event is free and all we are asking for are willing hands and hearts that would share their time. There is no need to have experience with tools and also no need to bring anything along. If someone needs to learn how to use something\, the team is prepared to help teach and is also equipped with safety glasses and gloves. Those interested in participating would be encouraged to sign up either through the QR code on the Facebook page or provided\, so that we can get an adequate head count to have plenty of supplies brought along. DESCRIPTION:Monroe Walk for Life May 23 in Monroe\, MI \n“Connected in Christ\, We March for Life” is the theme for the annual Monroe Walk for Life slated Saturday\, May 23\, 2026\, in downtown Monroe\, MI.\nThe free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Central (SMCC) High School\, 108 W. Elm Ave. The program will open in the school gym with two guest speakers giving compelling testimonies about their pro-life journeys. The assembly will then walk several blocks to Trinity Lutheran School gym\, 323 Scott St.\, where two other speakers will advise churches on how to start their own pro-life outreach and prayer ministries to assist pregnant moms in need and their babies before and after birth. Afterward\, the assembly will return to SMCC where a free lunch\, silent auction\, raffle prizes and live Christian music are also planned.\nParticipants can bring donations of baby and mother goods to be distributed to 3 pregnancy resource centers in Monroe County.\nMore information is available by contacting Bill Terrasi at iusvitae@aol.com.
