DESCRIPTION:PULPIT ANNOUNCEMENT SPRING 2026 CONFERENCE \nKinsmen of the Cross Men’s Ministry is holding its Spring 2026 Conference on April 11th\, 2026 at Faith Baptist Church in Defiance\, Ohio. The theme of the conference is “Sons of Issachar” and it will focus on encouraging men to understand the spiritual significance of the times we live in and they will be encouraged to step up with courage and conviction to defend the truth of God’s Word; champion Christ’s church; and to stand alongside their pastors as mighty men of God. The conference will begin at 8:30 am with coffee\, donuts and fellowship time; the first session will begin at 9am. \nThis is an excellent opportunity to fellowship with other Christian men in our area and to be encouraged in your faith. They invite you to bring other men with you; father’s brothers\, and sons 12 and up. There were 13 churches from all over the state represented at the last conference. \nThe registration fee is only $30 for the entire conference which includes a catered lunch\, giveaways\, welcome bags and all the teaching. DESCRIPTION:Dr. Jerry Bergman Presents: Cancelled Three Times \nDr. Jerry Bergman joins us to relate the riveting story of the challenges he faced as he struggled to find meaning in life growing up in the Jehovah’s Witness faith. He eventually rejected their worldview. Influenced by the atheism that saturates higher education today\, after earning multiple degrees in academia\, he came to realize the many enormous scientific and historical errors in their worldview. Atheism also depends on the belief that life resulted from a massive number of mutations\, chance\, natural selection\, plus millions of years. Dr. Bergman’s lifetime of study and teaching cell biology and biochemistry has convinced him that this belief has now been effectively falsified by empirical science. His quest involved the study of every major world religion and philosophy. It showed him that only Biblical Christianity reflects reality.

SUMMARY:2nd Annual ECS Golf Scramble
DESCRIPTION:Calling all golfers! As part of our commitment to supporting the Christian education and development of children in our community\, we are hosting a benefit golf scramble to raise funds for our school programs\, scholarships\, and facilities. The scramble will take place on Friday\, August 21\, at Giant Oak Golf Club. You’ll get a chance to earn some prizes\, fellowship with other ECS supporters\, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation out on the course. After the scramble concludes\, you’ll get a chance to enjoy a delicious meal and earn some prizes\, all included in the registration fee.
