The highlight of the evening will be the feature length film, Wayfaring Stranger starring Stephen Baldwin. This film is based on true events that depict the genesis and building of New Hope Church. It is a film that not only shows what God can do with committed people, but also a story of hope and redemption. Several of the characters in the film are based on the actual folks who came together to build this church. Among them are Pastor Doyle Clark and his son, Professor Lance Clark of Huntington University. Lance will be present to provide personal commentary as well as Q & A regarding the making of the film. Please come and help New Hope Church celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. There will be concessions available and bake sale items with all proceeds going towards the roof repair fund.
