Come One, Come All to the “Living Water Tent” at the Monroe County Fair (Monroe, MI). During the week of July 28 – Aug 2 from noon – 8 pm, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) sponsors a Ministry Tent. We provide a glass of cold water to the fair goers (generally it is quite hot this week and everyone is receptive to receiving a free cup of cold water). However, the main purpose is to share the Joy of God’s “Living Water”. Our volunteers eagerly share a free glass of cold water, welcome the children to play free games for free Christian themed prizes, offer free Christian literature and Bibles, and share God’s love and/or pray with someone that is in need. This tent provides us the opportunity to reach out and share God’s free gift of the water of life to the Monroe community and the thousands of people that attend the annual county fair.
